Baska ist das bekannteste touristische Zentrum auf der Insel Krk, der grossten adriatischen Insel. Baska bietet fur alle etwas! Baška é la localitá turistica piú famosa sull' isola di Veglia, la maggiore isola in Adriatico, che per la sua posizione nella regione settentrionale della costa Croata, é la piú prossima al mercato dell'Europa centrale. La posizione di Baška ha permesso a questa localitá uno sviluppo continuo e prosperitá, ma anche un aspetto subito riconoscibile ai nostri giorni nell'ambiente turistico. Non a caso é una delle destinazioni turistiche "top ten" nel Mare Adriatico. Baška giace in un'insenatura circondata da vigneti, oliveti, ginestre, avendo sullo sfondo i monti Velebit che dominano il litorale di terraferma e l'isolotto di Prvić che sembra voglia difendere la bella baia e la spiaggia di Baška lunga 1800 metri, una delle piú belle sull'Adriatico.

a u današnje vrijeme i prepoznatljivost u turističkom okruženju, te je Baška jedna od "top ten" turističkih destinacija Jadrana. Smještena je u pitomoj dolini, u zaljevu, okružena vinogradima, maslinicima, brnistrom, sa slikovitom pozadinom krševite planine Velebita i otočića Prvića, koji kao da štite sa svih strana jedinstvenu šljunčanu plažu dugu 1800 m, za koju sa pravom kažu da je jedna od najljepših na Jadranu.
